Totem 2025
From 31st May to 30th September 2025, the Rocca Albornoz in Narni will host TOTEM, a solo exhibition by Federico Paris curated by Antonio Rocca. The show traces some of the artist’s most meaningful explorations, offering a reflection on the symbolic and spiritual dimension of contemporary art.
The exhibition unfolds across three key sections: works from the Pix series, the Totems, and two video installations. The pixelated butterflies in the Pix series revisit childhood imagery, blending digital aesthetics with references to pre-Columbian culture, forming mosaics that suggest long-lost languages. The Totems are charged with symbolic and spiritual significance, rooted in a collective imagination linked to animist traditions. The video installations complete the exhibition, amplifying its mystical tone and creating a contemplative, immersive experience.
With TOTEM, Paris encourages visitors to approach art as a space for archetypes and imagination, pointing towards a renewed sense of beauty and inner transformation. The exhibition invites us to engage with what lies beneath the surface—reading the invisible through the visible, in a space where symbolism and emotion quietly converge.
