From 7th June to 20th July 2025, a solo exhibition by the Terni-based photographer Nicola Severino will be held in the Sala del Torcularium in Todi, adjacent to the Civic Museum within the Lucrezie complex. Curated by Francesco Santaniello and Franco Profili, the exhibition presents the photographic series "Lasciamoli andare", which concludes a trilogy that began with "Non mangiare il tuo cuore" and "La caccia".

Severino's works feature figures and living beings emerging from a deep black background, a space that becomes an unknown and potentially dangerous arena, representing shadow, death, and mysterious inner aspects. However, the white outlining these forms symbolises light and life.

The imperative "Lasciamoli andare" reflects the author's choice oriented towards research, opportunity, energy, and creative impulse, where works of art are capable of initiating complex processes in the human mind and soul, helping us to better understand ourselves and our place in the world.
