On 5 and 6 July 2025, Deruta hosts the Deruta Tango Festival, two full days dedicated to tango with a free programme combining live music, dance, and cultural discovery. Open to both enthusiasts and the curious, the festival offers an opportunity to connect and share one of the most captivating art forms.

The programme begins on the afternoon of Saturday 5 July with tango lessons led by renowned international dancers Malena Veltri and Luis Delgado, followed by the first evening milonga. On Sunday 6 July, activities continue with a guided tour of the city, a social dance session called Aperitango at Little Enjoy, more lessons in Piazza dei Consoli, and a final milonga that will light up the Deruta night.

Among the musical highlights is the concert by the Quartetto Fancelli, an ensemble that brings both traditional and contemporary tango repertoire to life with passion and precision.
