Piazza Giordano Bruno 06123 PERUGIA PG
The church of San Domenico overlooks the small and irregular small square, the piazzetta Giordano Bruno along Corso Cavour in Perugia.
It is one of the city's most religious buildings. We recommend visiting its majestic bell-tower which is one of the most famous monuments with set the city of Perugia apart and for its monumento funebre del Papa Benedetto XI, recently attributed to Lorenzo Maitani on the model of that of cardinal Guglielmo De Braye, the work of Arnolfo di Cambio, conserved in San Domenico ad Orvieto. For those who are passionate about archaeology, we also recommend a visit to the National Archaeological Museum in the two large prehistoric and Etruscan-Roman sections.
