Umbria Libri Terni 2025
Terni, from November 28 to 30, 2025, hosts the thirty-first edition of UmbriaLibri, the Umbrian publishing fair titled “States of Nature.” The event offers three days of meetings, presentations, performances, and workshops focused on the dialogue between publishing, culture, and society, with particular attention to the themes of care, regeneration, and inclusiveness.
The program features writers, publishers, and scholars, with events taking place between the Fondazione Carit and the BCT – Biblioteca Comunale di Terni. Among the main appointments, on November 28 at 4 p.m. at Fondazione Carit, Chiara Faggiolani (Laterza) will present “Libri insieme. Viaggio nelle nuove comunità della conoscenza,” followed at 5 p.m. by Fabrizio Tonello with “L’America in 18 quadri. Dalle piantagioni a Silicon Valley” (Laterza). In the evening, at the BCT Literary Café, contemporary literature takes the stage with a reading-performance inspired by “Bebelplatz” (Sellerio) by Fabio Stassi, and the presentation of “Nella carne” (Adelphi) by David Szalay, together with “In Inghilterra con gli Oasis” (Perrone) and “Una lingua per cantare” (Einaudi) by Carlo Giulio Pantalei.
On November 30, Emanuele Trevi will present “Mia nonna e il Conte” (Solferino) at Fondazione Carit, while the closing event at the BCT will feature Fabrizio Bentivoglio with “Piccolo almanacco dell’attore” (Baldini+Castoldi), in conversation with the audience.
