In San Giovanni Profiamma, a hamlet of Foligno, the 31st edition of the Sagra della Rocciata will take place from July 25 to August 3, 2025. This event blends tradition, conviviality, and a focus on social issues. The main feature is the rocciata, the famous dessert from Foligno linked to rural cuisine and now recognized among the protected recipes of the Umbrian culinary tradition. It is an ancient preparation, a symbol of local folk memory, and has recently gained attention through TV shows and culinary competitions.

The festival offers a rich program with live music, local food and wine, and moments of social gathering — all in a context that celebrates not only food but also the cultural and social aspects of the region. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Umbrian Association for the Fight Against Cancer (AUCC), confirming the organizers’ commitment to concrete solidarity and support for the community.

From August 5 to 10, the celebrations continue with the Handmade Gnocchi Festival, maintaining the same spirit of conviviality and solidarity, and further strengthening the bond between gastronomy, local territory, and mutual support.
