The fifth edition of the Pale Hero Trail will take place on 8th June 2025 in Capodacqua di Foligno, Umbria. This competitive mountain running event features three different race distances. The courses, which vary in length and elevation gain, begin and end in the village of Capodacqua. The trails, run in semi self-sufficiency, unfold through a scenic setting of rolling hills and highland paths, offering a technical challenge for trail running enthusiasts.

The scheduled distances are: 36 km with 2500 m of positive elevation gain (valid as the Regional Long Trail Championship under FIDAL), 22 km with 1500 m D+, and 15 km with 800 m D+. The event is designed to engage both experienced athletes and recreational mountain runners. All races follow ITRA guidelines and contribute to the UTMB Index, which ranks participants based on their performance in recognised trail events.
