Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December will see the first edition of Olea Dulcis, as part of Olea Mundi Day 2024, in Lugnano in Teverina, at the former factory building.
The focus will be on spreading the culture of extra virgin olive oil for its sustainability, food, health and landscape value and encouraging its use in confectionery as a superior quality vegetable raw material. 
The programme includes, on the day of 30 November, at 9.30 a.m. Olea Mundi Trekking, with a walk and guided tour of the Olea Mundi world collection (Reservations 349 6602285); at 1 p.m. there will be a tasting of Bruschetta and Focaccia from ‘A Modo Mio’ and wines from the Amerino area, at ‘La Genuinità dei Sapori’ at the Oleificio Cooperativo Intercomunale di Lugnano.
On 1 December, the event will open with a Talk on Olea Mundi and the presentation of the ‘Oleoturism Hub’ project.
At 3.30 p.m. the Competition of the Best Panettone cakes with EVO Oil of Italy will take place, and you can follow the jury's tasting closely in the Spazio Fabbrica Theatre hall.
From 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. in the Terzo Pimpolari hall, there will be an exhibition of sweets and panettone cakes with EVO oil from the following pastry shops: Fabula and Le Delizie di Deby of Terni, Centumbrie of Agello (PG), Napoleone of Rieti, Polozzi of Viterbo, Ferretti of Teramo, Russo of Amelia, Olivieri of Foggia and others
Admission is free and it will be an unmissable opportunity to taste and buy the best and healthiest Christmas sweets.
On the first floor on the Spazio Fabbrica Theatre stage, in parallel, there will be show cooking by: Pietro Marchi President of AIS Umbria will open the event with ‘Panettone and Champagne’; Pamela Fabrizi of the Michelin-starred restaurant Elementi di Brufa SPA Resort - Brufa (PG); Diego Pennacchia of La Locanda del Cardinale di Assisi (PG); Alessandra Baruzzi National Coordinator Lady Chef and Donna dell'Olio; Sandro Ferretti Master Pastry Chef AMPI of Teramo; Domenico Napodano of Convivial in Tuscania (VT); Maria Chiara Tobia of the Michelin-starred restaurant Une in Capodacqua (PG); Maurizio Serva of the Michelin-starred restaurant La Trota in Rivodutri (RI).
The event will close with two awards ceremonies:
