The village of Montecchio, in the province of Terni, will host Montecchio in Acquarello on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June 2025 – an opportunity to rediscover the joy of being together through art, nature and shared creativity.

The event kicks off on Saturday morning with a guided tour and picnic at the Necropolis of the Vallone di San Lorenzo, followed in the afternoon by the opening of the exhibition “Environment, Recycling and the Reuse of Materials” at the Sala della Comunanza Agraria. The day continues with painting and creative reuse workshops for all ages in the Giardini di Piazza Garibaldi and concludes with an evening aperitif with live music by Caterina & The Railways, alongside wine tastings and sweet and savoury treats.

On Sunday 15th June, the exhibition reopens and is joined by “Il Mercatino”, a space dedicated to sustainable living and local crafts, with reuse-themed workshops for children organised by the Community Hub library. At 11:30 am, the Giardini di Piazza Garibaldi will host a collective painting activity on a Maxi Roll, ending with a prize ceremony for children.
