From 18 May to 28 July 2024 it will be possible to visit Ioana Maria Sisea's exhibition entitled "The Adventures of Bear Lache and his Friends", at the Regional Ceramics Museum of Deruta.
The exhibition includes sculptures depicting micro-narratives expressed in the form of a satire of contemporaneity inspired by the history of communist Romania, which is reinterpreted to address the themes of perdition and materialism. 
The small works, made of ceramic and enamel, depict bears interacting with half-naked women. In Ioana's narrative, the bear becomes a powerful symbol of different meanings, including chaos, political corruption, abuse of power and the exploitation of the female body that takes place in Romania.
