The 42nd edition of the Festa del Giacchio will be held from 26 July to 4 August in San Feliciano.
Once again this year, it will be possible to savour not only excellent fish dishes from Lake Trasimeno, but also the prized 'Fagiolina del Trasimeno', an ancient and precious legume cultivated for centuries on the shores of the lake, now a symbol of tradition and quality, as well as a Slow Food Presidium.
During the festival, the lakeside will be enlivened by live music from extraordinary groups, at the Giacchio Pub, who will bring rock, pop, blues and classical music.
A new feature of this edition will be the opportunity to participate in the embroidery workshop organised by the Filet Modano San Feliciano Association.
In addition, throughout the entire event, visitors will be able to take part in the Brick Exhibition, to immerse themselves in a fabulous world, admiring detailed and creative scenarios: among the main attractions will be medieval battles, clashes between pirates and gendarmes, assaults by outlaws from the Far West, tanks and reconstructions of battles from the Second World War.
