From July 25 to August 3, 2025, San Feliciano (Magione), a picturesque village overlooking Lake Trasimeno, hosts the 43rd edition of the Festa del Giacchio—an event that celebrates local fishing traditions, culture, and cuisine.
After six years, the long-awaited lakeside dinner returns—an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy the landscape and conviviality in a stunning setting, accompanied by the authentic flavors of the region.
Deeply rooted in the community's collective memory, the Festa del Giacchio takes its name from the typical fishing net used on Lake Trasimeno, a symbol of everyday life and the work of local fishermen. Over ten days, the village comes alive with culinary events, live music, reenactments, stories from the fishing world, and moments of social gathering.
