The seventh edition of the Correnti del Nera Music Festival will be held from 10 July to 7 September 2024 in various Umbrian locations, from Ferentillo to Cesi, passing through Arrone and Acquasparta, and on to Terni.
There will be five concerts organised by the Filarmonica Umbra association, to listen to international artists and, thanks to music, discover the territory.
It will begin on 10 July, from 7.30 p.m., in Ferentillo, at the Abbey of San Pietro in Valle, with the Alinde Quartet and Bernhard Bauer, in a new concert format, in which cultured music will mix with folklore and acting: Italy and Germany will join in tarantellas, serenades and German dances, creating an energetic exchange of rhythms. 
It will continue on 22 July at 9 pm, in Cesi at the Auditorium Sant'Agnese, with 'Quando il rock mette il frac' by the Trio Dante: the evergreens of rock will be revived through the performance of the great hits of the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and others, which have characterised history and are able to excite and involve audiences of all ages. 
On Thursday, 1 August at 9.30 p.m., in Arrone, at the Canoe and Rafting Centre, it will be possible to take part in a musical and narrative journey through the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, which tells of Italy, its stories, the birth of the radio, and customs, which will be brought to life by the '900 Italian Swing Ensemble.
Instead, on 7 August at 9.00 p.m., at the Sala del Trono in Palazzo Cesi, Acquasparta, it will be the turn of the Young Chigiani talents on violin and cello, in collaboration with the Accademia Chigiana of Siena. 
To end, on 7 September in Terni, at the Sala dell'Orologio del Caos, with "Suona con noi": a musical kermesse that will be a meeting between professionals and amateurs in the common passion for music, organised with the Italian Association of Amateur Musicians.
