he church of St. Nicholas is situated in Montecastrilli and it is the parish church of the village.

In the X-XI century it was built and in 1964 it was completely restored, especially in the facade and bell tower.

Inside the church is divided into six chapels, three of them are in the Baroque style and it retains painted decorations created by Zuccari, an icon of the Madonna Refugium Peccatorum of the XVI century, a wooden crucifix of the XV century and two important paintings of the XVI century by Bartolomeo Poliziano and Archiatra Ricci.
