“The picture of sound. #jazz in Perugia" is the title of the big photographic exhibition hosted by the Civic Museum of Penna Palace (in the historical centre of the Umbrian main town), from the 1st July to 10 September 2017. 

The exhibition collects about 400 snapshots of over 30 photographers who documented the main jazz protagonists in the inspiring setting of the Acropolis during the previous editions.

It’s a unique occasion to plunge into a real journey in the past of the most famous musical appointment in Umbria from the point of view of big artists, who immortalised key moments of the town’s history, its monumental beauties and medieval glimpses.

Alongside the photographic itinerary there will be a series of side events among music, meetings and debates with experts.
