Le Rocche Raccontano (Stronghold Tales)
Fourteen "Living Paintings" (tableaux vivants) and more than 500 characters in period costumes will guide you in discovering the village's past: the first inhabitants, the Naharki, until the Great War, passing through the Lombards, the Middle Ages, the Holy Inquisition, Brigandage, the Risorgimento (the Unification of Italy) and the inauguration of the Terni-Ferentillo tram line.
You can enjoy a route which covers some of the most stunning locations in the area, like the rock walls famous for free climbing and the banks of the river Nera or the medieval hamlets of Matterella and Precetto with their fortresses.
In addition to the "Living Paintings" there are also a Palio, a historical procession, exhibitions, conferences, concerts and shows planned, whilst at the "Taverna dell'Abbadia" every evening you'll be able to enjoy delicious traditional local dishes.
