Glass in Piegaro represents a thousand-year tradition and the splendid village, in order to celebrate it, will host, from 24^th to 27^th May, the new edition of the “Festival of Glass”: four days with the art of glass as absolute protagonist.

It’s an event entirely devoted to art, design, recycling of glass, conferences, workshops, laboratories, music, theatre and typical products.

The schedule will be rich in activities and will include seminars, classes, laboratories for kids and workshops concerning the different glass working methods with the presence of the main Italian and foreign master glass-makers.

The event will see the participation of the most representative Italian Museums of the Glass (Murano, Altare, Empoli, Gambassi Terme and Colle Val d’Elsa), as well as art institutes and important companies operating in the glass field.
