VII International Green Music Festival

Back to the Green Music Festival, throughout the month of August until September 16, in various locations in Umbria.

It will be an August full of unmissable events, starting from the 1st, when the pianist Paolo Scafarella will perform at the Medieval Fortress of Passignano.

On August 2, from the morning, there will be the opportunity to take part in events with pianist Alessandro Vena at Palazzo della Corgna in Castiglione del Lago, and then move to the Medieval Fortress of Passignano that will welcome the pianist Moira Michelini and clarinettist Giovanni Lanzini

In Tavernelle on August 3 an event, in Piazza Cocci, with Emilia Di Pasquale, who will perform at the piano, accompanied by Beatrice Ciofani, violin, Gianmarco Piemari, viola/percussion and Giancarlo Giannangeli, cello.

On 4 August, appointment at the Parco dell'Imbersato of Bevagna, selected to welcome "Lo chiede agli alberi", new concert-show of singer-songwriter Simone Cristicchi.

On August 5, the Festival will move to Piegaro, in the hamlet of Greppolischieto, with the performance of pianist Nadia Testa, accompanied by the voice of Samantha Sapienza, soprano, in a tribute to Maria Callas.

Also on August 5 in Piazza del Comune, in Montefalco, will perform the Trasimeno Big Band, directed by Emanuele Ragni.

On August 6, at the Town Square of Ficulle, the Festival will host directly from Vietnam, the violinist Trinh Minh Hien, accompanied by guitarist Dang Anh Tuan, who will propose songs dedicated to his culture. 

On August 7, in Foligno, the Tamburellisti di Torre Paduli will bring healthy fun to Palazzo Trinci, with the music of the taranta and their "pizzica pizzica". 

On August 8, in the Piazza Comunale of Montefalco, the masters Sabrina Gasparini, Gen Llukaci and Athos Bassissi, will present "Musica Vagabonda", show of voice, violin and accordion. 

The Duo Mistral, will propose a double appointment with the show "Music without border", on the dates of August 9 in Foligno, Palazzo Trinci and August 10 in Piegaro

On 11 August the Festival will move to Porano, in the hamlet of Borgo Hescana, with the Alma Trio formed by Palma Di Gaetano, Giordano Muolo and Ciro Galeone respectively flute, clarinet and violin. 

On August 12 at the Teatro Francesco Torti in Bevagna, Sara Cianciullo, a young pianist, will bring a repertoire of classical music.

Another double appointment for the duo formed by Masters Antonella De Vinco and Raffaele Bertolini, piano and clarinet, which will perform on 12 August at Castello di Montali in Panicale, and on 13 August at Palazzo della Corgna in Castiglione del Lago.

The concert of the Aurora on August 14 at 6:00 am, remains one of the most awaited events of the Festival: the Medieval Fortress in Passignano will still be the setting for the concert of the Maestro and Artistic Director of the Festival Maurizio Mastrini, for this occasion, will present his album "Baci".

On August 16, in Fabro, another unmissable event will arrive: the concert in the Teatro di Paglia. In this setting, the writer Bruno Gambarotta will guide the public on a journey through the works of Maestro Ennio Morricone, supported by the music performed by Maestro Giorgio Costa at the piano and by Maestro Elena Cornacchia at the flute.

On 21 August the Festival will be staged at Parco Rocolo in Piegaro, with guitarist Francesco Tizianel who will present his "Cover me... Masterpieces". 

Double appointment also for Floraleda Sacchi, one of the best harpists in the world, who will perform on 23 August at the Medieval Fortress of Passignano and 24 August at Palazzo Trinci in Foligno

Still, on 23 August, in Orvieto at the Campo della Fiera, will perform Bianca D'amore, Sabrina Cardone and Alessandro Martorelli, soprano, piano and voice, who will stage the show "Tales of love".

On August 24 at Palazzo Orca in Città della Pieve, will be the performance of Giacomo Franci, pianist, artistic director and executive of the New York Chamber Players. 

On August 25 the Festival will bring, at the Sculpture Park of Brufa, a touch of music and humor with Giovanni Cacioppo.

It will end the month of August with the last stage on 27, at the Gardens of Frontone of Perugia, where the Musicians of Gregorio Caimi will present the show "Terramadre", which will tell of their Sicily. 

The last event of the event will be on 16 September at the Museo della Perugina in San Sisto - Perugia, where will perform the U.S Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band, one of the official bands of NATO.
