The "Bianchi" (White art) by Carlo Zauli

The exhibition will remain open until 11 June 2015

The exhibition of Carlo Zauli, a well-known artist from Faenza (1926-2002), is being held in the Municipal Art Gallery of Città di Castello from 11 April to 11 June 2015. In the year celebrating the birth of Alberto Burri, the presence of Zauli in the town where the "Tifernate" Master was born ("tifernate" means "from Città di Castello"), is substantial recognition of one of the most important ceramist-sculptors of the twentieth century.

The exhibition consists of a central group of about 25 pieces including medium-large sculptures, which have always been considered among the most representative of the sculptor's artistic works.

The event is part of a project sponsored by the Municipality of Città di Castello, entitled "PINACOTECA CONTEMPORANEA" (CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY), which will include numerous events in 2015 dedicated to contemporary art.

Opening hours

The exhibition is open every day from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30 - closed on Monday (unless it falls on a public holiday).
