On 19th and 20th February Montefalco is going to host experts coming from all over the world, the press and field experts, in order to present the 2014 vintage of one of the most famous wines all over the world: the Sagrantino. 

The two days’ event, that will be devoted to journalists, restaurateurs and buyers, will see as protagonists, together with the great Umbrian red wine, other oenological gems of the territory.

The cloister of St. Augustine and the Museum Complex of St. Francis will frame tastings of the Sagrantino Montefalco DOCG Year 2014, the Red Montefalco DOC Year 2016, the Red Montefalco DOC Riserva Year 2015 and the White Montefalco DOC Year 2014.

There will also be the awarding ceremony for the winners of the contests “Sagrantino on the table”, devoted to chefs willing to test themselves in finding a perfect combination of food and Sagrantino, “Art label” for artists, cartoonists and illustrators who want to ideate and create the commemorative label of the Year 2014 of the Sagrantino Montefalco DOCG and lastly “Great Prize of the Sagrantino”, a true professional contest among sommeliers.
