On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, the historic centre of Trevi will host the 61° Mostra Mercato del Sedano Nero, together with the traditional Sagra del Sedano Nero e della Salsiccia, a well-established event in the Umbrian autumn calendar. The event focuses on Trevi’s Black Celery, a local speciality grown for generations using traditional techniques, promoted both as an agricultural product and a culinary ingredient.

Over the two days, the town’s streets and squares will welcome local producers and market stalls where visitors can buy freshly harvested black celery along with other regional food products. The heart of the event is the food offering, featuring dishes prepared according to traditional recipes that highlight the intense, aromatic flavour of the celery—especially when paired with sausage, the true star of the festival.

The historic centre will come alive with convivial moments, music, and activities for families and food culture enthusiasts.
