A lucky coin at the bottom of the well, a postcard to capture a memory, and a romantic and evocative journey through the hidden Orvieto to discover a millennia-old love story. Orvieto's underground takes centre stage in the sixth edition of Innamorati di Orvieto, which will be held from 13 to 15 February 2026, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the patron saint of lovers.

The initiative, under the subtitle “Ti amo dal profondo!”, includes all the city’s major underground sites and invites tourists and visitors to join a romantic tour. Highlights include the Orvieto Underground caves, the Pozzo della Cava, the tunnels of the Adrian’s Labyrinth, the Church of Sant’Andrea, and the incredible Pozzo di San Patrizio.
