On 12th October, Gubbio will host the Granfondo del Montefeltro, a cycling event crossing the Umbrian-Marche Apennines along the scenic truffle routes, combining sport with a strong sense of place. Riders will depart from the historic centre of the Umbrian town on a loop route that leads to Acqualagna, renowned for its truffle tradition, before returning to Gubbio.

Two routes are available: the Granfondo (138 km, 2,095 m elevation gain) and the Mediofondo (80 km, 1,440 m elevation gain). Both include short but demanding climbs and panoramic descents, with views ranging from rolling hills to Apennine peaks.

The event offers a full experience blending nature, history and local flavour. Special accommodation and entry packages are available to make the most of the weekend.
