Gianni Berengo Gardin's pictures narrated an epoch, accompanied and sometimes built a vision: 24 shots are going to retrace 60 years of career of one of the biggest Italian artists. 

It's the exhibition "GIANNI BERENGO GARDIN | True photography with authored texts" , that can be visited at CAOS - Terni's Siri Art Center and Factory until the 30^th April.

At the exhibition's origin there are the several meetings that marked the Masters' life: each of the pictures is indeed introduced by a protagonist of the artistic and cultural environment, who commented one of the shots chosen in the enormous photographic corpus of Berengo Gardin.

Friends, intellectuals, colleagues, artists, journalists, directors and architects wrote down some texts that help to understand even better the social and aesthetic value of the artworks: Marco Bellocchio, Carlo Verdone, Renzo Piano, Vittorio Gregotti, Mimmo Paladino, Alfredo Pirri, Jannis Kounellis, Ferdinando Scianna, Sebastião Salgado, Maurizio Maggiani, Roberto Cotroneo, Mario Calabresi and Michele Smargiassi, to name just a few.

The exhibition is furthermore enriched by a projection of pictures taken from the photographer's archive.
