Festa della Lavanda- Lavender Festival
| Three weekends, beginning on the 20th-21st June and the two weekends after (27th-28th June, 4th-5th July), to spend amongst the colours and fragrances of the "Festa della Lavanda", in Castelnuovo di Assisi. |
| This is a unique opportunity to admire pink, white, purple and blue lavender in bloom and learn how to recognise the different varieties of the plant. |
A flower market, guided tours, workshops and courses are only some of the initiatives organised at the Lavandeto (Lavender fields) of Assisi which, for the occasion, is welcoming many local exhibitors, as well as those from other regions like Lazio and Tuscany.
Six days to immerse yourself in nature and admire the splendid views of Assisi and Monte Subasio, just behind the lavender fields.
