From Thursday 8 to Saturday 17 August 2024 Monteleone d'Orvieto will experience ten days of extraordinary events.
It will begin with the long-awaited 17th edition of the Sagra degli Umbrichelli 2024, an event that will offer a rich and varied programme, capable of satisfying the tastes of every visitor, thanks to music. culture, history and folklore, that will animate the summer evenings in the village.
On 10 August, however, the 4th edition of Calici di Stelle nel Borgo dei Desideri di Monteleone d'Orvieto will return, a summer event par excellence organised by the Movimento Turismo del Vino and the Città del Vino (Wine Cities), in Piazza Bilancini from 7 pm.
Wine lovers and star gazers will be able to taste fine wines from the area paired with local delicacies. 
The evening will culminate with music by ‘I Ladri di Monnalisa’ at 10.30 p.m. and Perseid Observation on the terrace of the town hall, the Torrione, by the experts of the Gruppo Ecologista il Riccio.
12 August will be the time of La Sfida (The Challenge), at 10 p.m. in Piazza Bilancini: it will be a unique moment in which the Noble House of the Counts of Montemarte will challenge the Counts of Marsciano for the Palio. This historical event will reach its climax on 16 August at 6 p.m. with the Historical Procession and Palio del Carro, an epic parade that will bring ancient rivalries and centuries-old traditions back to life.
13 August will be followed by the Celebrations of Maestro Attilio Parelli to commemorate the 160th anniversary of his birth and the 80th anniversary of his death with the conference ‘Il maestro Attilio Parelli nel 160º anno della nascita’ (Maestro Attilio Parelli in the 160th year of his birth) in Piazza Garibaldi at 5.30 pm.
In addition to the main events, the PUB in Piazza Garibaldi will open every evening from 7 p.m. and the food stands will open at 7.30 p.m., offering the opportunity to taste delicious local specialities.
