On Sunday 15 February 2026, in the historic centre of Spoleto, the Spoleto Carnival returns with a different format, centred on Piazza Duomo. In the absence of the traditional allegorical floats, the heart of the celebrations moves to the area in front of the Cathedral, where the event takes shape through the participation of masked groups, families and local residents.

The programme features a large gathering in the square, with live music and entertainment, where masks become the true protagonists of the day. Setting the rhythm for the afternoon will be the Banda Musicale Città di Spoleto, accompanying visitors and performers in one of Umbria’s most evocative settings.
