Amerino Tipico 2025

On 15 and 16 November 2025, Amelia will host Amerino Tipico, an event celebrating new olive oil and the rich rural and gastronomic heritage of southern Umbria. As part of the Frantoi Aperti 2025 programme, it invites visitors to discover a land where the culture of olive oil blends with history, landscape and the warm hospitality of its villages.

Throughout the weekend, mills, farms and wineries will open their doors for guided tastings, meetings and itineraries combining art, nature and local flavours. At the heart of the event is the Rajo, an ancient native olive variety representing the essence of Amerino olive growing, alongside Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino.

The tasting experience will also include local products – from pulses and ancient grains to wines such as Grechetto, Malvasia, Ciliegiolo and Sangiovese – expressing the biodiversity and rural traditions of the region.
