The eighteenth-century house has been restored using local materials and respecting the local traditions.A wonderful swimming pool, laid on a natural terrace, offers stunning view of the surrounding hills. Every available surface within the property has been planted with flowers brimming with a profusion of colours. Mature trees provide a dappled shade for reading on a bench by the pond.The three stone-walled apartments are furnished and decorated in a stylish manner with many beautiful touches that are truly Umbrian and are a reflection of the owners’ love for country matters. All of them have a private patio, chimney and fully equipped kitchenette.The restaurant, which is reserved for our guests, offers fabulous local dishes full of flavour and made with products from the farm (you cannot miss our home-made pasta, grilled meat and vegetables…all dressed with a special olive oil!!). Il Poggiolo offers the chance to spend an unforgettable stay in a warm and friendly atmosphere. A unique charm which makes our guests feel at home.The house is located in a strategic position easily accessible from Fabro’s tollgate on the A1 and is an ideal starting point to visit the historic treasures of Umbria and Tuscany.
