Antico Sipario is the new Boutique Hotel resulting from the restoration of an ancient medieval palace in the historical centre of the thousand-year-old village of Paciano, a few kilometres from Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The structure, which was the cultural centre and small theatre of the village throughout the last century, is returning to life and culture in a new guise after a period of neglect.Antico Sipario is above all a space in which art and in particular the theatre play a leading role: the eight rooms and the common areas are in fact dedicated to the "theatre" concept, declined in all its expressions. We wanted to privilege the accessible common areas, such as the garden, the internal cloister illuminated by sunlight, onto which the walkways of the two floors overlook, the conference room obtained from the former small theatre, and above all our hall, which is like a social room. Here everyone will find their place: children will play on the colourful carpet in their own space, guests will consult books (also in foreign languages) from the well-stocked library, or exchange impressions about places, programmes and experiences, sitting on the red armchairs or perched on the 'round table'.
