Visioninmusica 2026
In Terni, from 23 January to 14 May 2026, Visioninmusica returns with a programme devoted to contemporary music, bringing together jazz, crossover, songwriting and new international sounds. Hosted at the Auditorium Gazzoli, the festival includes seven evening concerts, three morning events for schools and a special masterclass.
The season opens on 23 January with Simona Molinari and her project Kairos, followed by the manouche ensemble Four on Six. On 6 February, German double bassist Nils Kugelmann presents Life Score, a trio performance rich in narrative atmospheres. On 20 February, pianist Thomas Enhco explores Mozart’s music through Mozart Paradox, with the Italian Youth Saxophone Orchestra in the opening set.
On 6 March, Bungaro and Raffaele Casarano introduce Canzoni in Bianco e Nero, a dialogue between songwriting and jazz, preceded by the vocal group Mezzotono. The 13 March concert features the Italian premiere of MŸA by French-Lebanese trombonist Robinson Khoury, blending jazz, electronics and Middle Eastern influences. On 27 March, guitarist Frank Gambale performs with the Natural High Trio. The festival closes on 14 May with Simon Phillips and his project Protocol V.
The educational section Visioninmusica Scuola 2026 offers three matinée events, while on 26 March Frank Gambale leads an in-depth guitar masterclass.
