Perugia will host, from October 23 to 26, 2025, the thirty-first edition of UmbriaLibri, the Umbrian publishing fair entitled “States of Nature.”
Promoted by the Region of Umbria, the event offers a rich program of meetings, debates, and activities focusing on the dialogue between publishing, culture, and society, with special attention to the themes of care, regeneration, and inclusiveness.
Over 160 events will take place, featuring writers, publishers, and prominent intellectuals from the national literary scene. The festival will include conferences, literary performances, shows, and presentations of new publications, accompanied by local reading groups.

Among the scheduled events are the Verticale del Turismo di Perugia, the First AIB Day of Umbrian Libraries, and UmbriaLibri Off, a series of initiatives organized by Umbrian publishers and authors taking place from October 18 to 23.
Around fifty Umbrian publishing houses will take part in the book fair, showcasing works dedicated to social issues, history, art, fiction, and comics.

Special attention will be given to younger audiences: in collaboration with the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, there will be workshops, exhibitions, and events designed for children and teenagers.
The 2025 edition also introduces new synergies with schools and social inclusion projects involving the correctional institutes of Perugia and Terni, to which books will be donated.
