Umbria Green Festival 2025
From 3 March to 23 November, it will be possible to take part in numerous events proposed by Umbria Green Festival, Umbria's first Green Festival, in various locations including Perugia and Assisi.
On April 6th, at the Sala dei Notari in Perugia, Paolo Nori will present an analysis of Crime and Punishment, one of the most well-known novels in world literature. Through a monologue, Nori will examine the novel and provide a representation of the places described in the text, including Raskolnikov's residence, the pawnbroker's dwelling, and the courtyard where Raskolnikov hides the stolen goods. The presentation will focus on the analysis of the novel and the visualization of the mentioned locations.
On May 28 at 6:00 PM at the State Archives of Perugia, there will be a series of Risorgimento Narratives curated by Loredana Lipperini titled “Questa è l’acqua”.
On the same day, the musical reading “Canto d’acqua” by and with Telmo Pievani and Cristiano Godano will take place at Sala dei Notari at 9:15 PM.
On August 3 at 8:30 PM at the Roman Theatre of Carsulae, Giovanni Sollima will perform, where the renowned cellist will present “Invito al Viaggio”, a concert premiered nationally for the Umbria Green Festival.
On September 6 at 9:00 PM at the Rocca di Braccio in Montone (PG), the play “Corpo, umano” by Gianni Forte and Vittorio Lingiardi will be staged.
On September 12 at the Municipal Theatre of Narni, “Gli amori difficili”, a work by Italo Calvino, will be performed, with original music by Rodrigo D’Erasmo and textual research curated by Isabella Ragonese.
