The Trasimeno Prog Festival will enliven the evenings between August 21st and 24th, 2025, touching evocative locations between Lake Trasimeno and Perugia. The event will begin on August 21st at the Medieval Fortress of Castiglione del Lago with a performance by Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, a historic group in the Italian progressive scene. The evening of Friday, August 22nd, also at the medieval fortress of Castiglione del Lago, will be dedicated to the Pink Flow Night. Saturday, August 23rd, will see Castiglione del Lago once again as the protagonist with the King Crimson Night, a tribute to another milestone of progressive rock. The festival will conclude on August 24th in Perugia, at the Frontone Gardens, with a full screening of the film "Profondo Rosso" on the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary. This edition of the festival offers a journey through the different nuances of progressive rock, culminating in a special event dedicated to an iconic film.
