Tito Film Festival 2025
Costacciaro, on 12–13 July 2025, will host the fourth edition of the Tito Film Festival, dedicated to Tito Marconi, former president of Cinecittà (1949–1956) and native of this Umbrian village. The event celebrates the connection between Italian cinema heritage and new generations, with two days of cultural initiatives, training and discussions.
The programme includes audio-video training for young participants led by Lorenzo Lazzarini and his team, and a panel at the Church of San Francesco featuring actors and professionals such as Marco Leonardi, Alessio Chiodini, Carmen Signoriello, Sebastiano Somma, Manuel Mazia, Giacomo Campiotti and Adriano De Maio. On Sunday, study grants and awards for technical crew members will be presented.
The festival actively involves students from the area in short film production and is part of the “Borgo dell’Arte” project, which includes theatre activities, workshops and screenings held at the San Marco hall, now repurposed as a cultural and social space.
Evening events feature street food in Corso Mazzini and live music. The festival is centred around the theme of gratitude, highlighting Tito Marconi’s human and professional legacy.
