Terracomunica 2025
Gubbio, from 14th to 25th June 2025, hosts a new edition of Terracomunica – La Settimana della Sostenibilità Sociale, a festival that brings together environment, culture, education and civic participation. Events will take place in the Palazzo dei Consoli and other venues across the historic centre, with talks, workshops and activities for all ages.
The festival explores sustainability from environmental, social and economic perspectives, highlighting stories, practices and ideas that promote the common good. Among the confirmed speakers: Giulio Sapelli, Pietro Modiano, Father Claudio Ubaldo Cortoni, Alberto Mattiello, Sara Baroni, Alessandra Panaccione and Davide Assel, addressing issues such as the future of work, social justice, responsible enterprise, wellbeing and ecological transition.
Special attention is given to young people, with creative and hands-on workshops for ages 6 to 18 on topics like Earth sciences, sustainable food, circular economy, active citizenship, art and writing.
The programme features talks, educational activities and musical events, combining knowledge and intergenerational exchange. Themes range from geopolitics to natural resources, from ethical communication to technological innovation, offering a grounded and inclusive approach to sustainability.
