On 26 December 2025 and 6 January 2026, the village of Spello hosts the Presepe Vivente di Spello (Living Nativity Scene of Spello), taking place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm along the route between the Torri di Properzio and Porta Venere. The streets of the historic centre provide the setting for a representation inspired by Hispellum of the Year Zero, with scenes dedicated to everyday life, arts and traditional crafts of the period.

The route unfolds through different settings integrated into the urban fabric of the village. Along the way, sacred scenes linked to the Nativity lead to the central moment of the Birth of Jesus, which brings the narrative to a close.
