Perugia hosts a new edition of Panora.mic, the music festival curated by UmbriaEnsemble, blending chamber music with the most evocative moments of the day: sunset and sunrise.

Now in its seventh edition, the Sunset Concerts offer three evening events, scheduled every Friday from late July to early August, for an intimate and immersive listening experience in twilight light.

• The first concert, Transfigured Night (July 25, 9:00 PM), pairs Schubert and Schönberg in a symbolic journey between Eros and Thanatos, featuring narration and a string quartet.
• This is followed by Scenes from Childhood (August 1, 9:00 PM), dedicated to Schumann, with piano, violin, and narration.
• The final sunset concert is The Beauty of the Invisible (August 8, 9:00 PM), featuring music by Mozart and a literary introduction on Dante and St. Francis.

Celebrating its tenth edition, the Sunrise Concerts take place on three consecutive Sunday mornings in August, starting at 6:20 or 6:30 AM. The theme this year is the dialogue between Nature and Culture, through the genius loci of three European countries:

• French Sunrise (August 17), with music by Milhaud and Ravel;
• German Sunrise (August 24), with works by Mozart and Hass and a special performance by the winner of the UmbriaEnsemble Young Artists competition;
• Spanish Sunrise (August 31), a concert that blends strings, guitar, and dance.

Surprises are planned for the audience during the events, including themed goodies and sweet tastings. During the morning concerts, breakfast will be available on the Chocolate Bar Terrace, featuring two exclusive creations by Eurochocolate.
