In San Venanzo, from 7 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, a varied programme brings the Christmas season to life across the town and its surrounding villages, offering cultural activities, music and local traditions. The opening event is “Natale al Vulcano”, which fills the streets with a market featuring artisan crafts and local products, together with musical moments and activities for families. Over the years, it has become an important occasion for visitors and exhibitors, contributing to the enhancement of the historic centre.

The programme continues with initiatives in the nearby villages. Rotecastello hosts a charity dinner, while in Collelungo the arrival of traditional pipers accompanies a small Christmas market. The schedule also includes the traditional bingo evening and several musical events at the “La Serra” Congress Centre, which welcomes the blues concert on 2 January and the New Year concert by the local band on 4 January.

Christmas Eve features the arrival of Santa Claus in the square of Ospedaletto, and on 26 December Ripalvella presents the performance “Where Memory Becomes a Nativity Scene”. Activities continue into the new year with further community gatherings, including bingo in Poggio Aquilone and musical appointments in the town centre. The programme closes on 5 and 6 January with the arrival of the Befana in Rotecastello, San Vito in Monte and Ospedaletto, marking the end of a period characterised by music, markets, storytelling and local traditions throughout San Venanzo.
