Natale a San Feliciano 2025
In San Feliciano, a lakeside village in the Municipality of Magione, a programme of festive events takes place from 7 December to 5 January, with initiatives spread throughout the village, the lakeside area, and the community’s main meeting places. The celebrations open with an afternoon of exchange and bartering at the Circolo Canottieri, an opportunity to give new life to objects in line with the principles of circular economy. The day continues with “Note di Luce”, an itinerant concert guiding the audience from the historic centre to Piazza della Repubblica, and concludes with the switching on of the Christmas lights, accompanied by street food and mulled wine. On Christmas Eve, the lakeside hosts “Waiting for Father Christmas”, featuring carriage rides and a traditional torch-lit boat procession, while in the evening the Parish Church celebrates the Christmas Mass, also held on the morning of 25 December. The programme includes further cultural and social events, such as the theatrical production “La Luna su Buffalo” at the Teatro Mengoni, and the themed fashion show “Journey through the Festivities: changing looks, lasting emotions” at the Oratory “Gerusalemme Celeste”. The celebrations conclude on 5 January at the Circolo Canottieri with “Tutti insieme per Cesare”, a charity bingo night followed by the award ceremonies for the Nativity Scene Competition and the Christmas Balcony Competition, which showcase the community’s creativity and involvement.
