Moon in June returns in 2025, continuing its ten-year journey as a festival where singer-songwriter music, performance art and landscape come together in perfect harmony. Set against the backdrop of some of the most charming towns and locations in Umbria, this event has become a landmark for lovers of music in its most authentic, experimental and poetic form.

The festival opens on Wednesday 14th May at the Teatro Lyrick in Assisi, where the powerful voice of Fiorella Mannoia will meet the elegance of a full orchestra in an emotional reimagining of her most beloved songs in symphonic form.

On 21st June, Isola Maggiore hosts the return of Vinicio Capossela with Sirene, a visionary project inspired by myth and the poetry of water. The evening opens with a solo set by Renzo Rubino, designed to enhance the silent magic of the island.

The following day, Sunday 22nd June, Isola Maggiore is once again in the spotlight. At 6:45 p.m., Dente, one of the brightest voices in contemporary Italian songwriting, takes the stage for an intimate live set bathed in the golden glow of the lake at sunset. Afterwards, Roberto Angelini and Rodrigo D’Erasmo present Il dominio della luce, a project that blends classical sensitivity with contemporary experimentation in a performance rich in visual and emotional impact.

On Friday 27th June, the hilltop village of Castel Rigone hosts two visionary artists in a double set: Laura Agnusdei, who merges saxophone and electronics into dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes, and Valentina Magaletti (V/Z), one of Europe’s boldest percussionists, known for turning each live show into a striking rhythmic journey.

Sunday 29th June brings the iconic Noa to the Medieval Fortress of Castiglione del Lago, one of the festival’s most evocative locations. Backed by her band, Noa will perform a rich repertoire blending jazz, Mediterranean melodies and world music. Special guest Miriam Toukan, a powerful Palestinian voice, adds a vibrant and intercultural depth to the evening.

Closing the festival on Friday 1st August, again at the fortress, is Shablo with his Street Jazz Tour 2025, a bold fusion of contemporary jazz, black music and urban sounds. Following his Sanremo debut, Shablo presents a full live band, his signature DJ console, and guest artists including Tormento, Joshua, and Mimì, the talented young winner of the latest X Factor.
