MIMMO PALADINO. ANTOLOGICA
From 8 November 2025 to 18 January 2026, Mimmo Paladino, one of Italy's leading contemporary artists, whose works can be found in Europe's major art museums, will be the protagonist of a solo exhibition at the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria in Perugia, Albornoz Fortress of Spoleto and Ducal Palace of Gubbio , which will reconstruct his entire career, starting with the conceptual work he conducted in the 1970s, up to the figurative turn of the 1980s, when he was one of the main exponents of the Transavanguardia movement. Delineated through direct collaboration with the master, Mimmo Paladino's career will be presented through seminal works, such as Silenzioso, mi ritiro a dipingere un quadro, up to large format canvases that also involve the extension in space and the construction of masterpieces somewhere between painting and installation. The exhibition will also open a window on the artist's cinematographic experience, which has seen him involved in recent years in feature films inspired by the Divine Comedy and Don Quixote.
