Isola di Natale a San Giustino 2025
In San Giustino, from 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, the Island of Christmas returns with a programme that brings together cultural activities and initiatives linked to the festive season. The opening on 6 December features the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza del Municipio, accompanied by songs performed by nursery school children, marking the beginning of a series of events held in various locations throughout the municipality. On the same day, reading workshops take place in the rooms of Castello Bufalini, while the Tobacco Museum hosts theatre activities aimed at families and younger audiences.
The programme continues on 7 and 8 December with musical events across the area, including concerts and moments dedicated to children that enliven the local squares. From 12 to 14 December, the Christmas Markets return to the main square and Cinema Teatro Astra, accompanied by additional cultural and recreational initiatives. On Sunday 14 December, Castello Bufalini will also host the primary school markets and the nativity exhibition created by fifth-grade pupils, a tradition deeply rooted in the local community.
The schedule extends into early January with the Living Nativity, recreated in the village of Celalba on 26 and 28 December and on 6 January, culminating with the arrival of the Magi. The programme brings together music, workshops, markets, Christmas storytelling and the shared tradition of the Living Nativity, offering residents and visitors an itinerary spread throughout the central areas of San Giustino during the entire holiday period.
