Festival del Cinema Città di Spello e dei Borghi Umbri 2025
From March 7 to 16, 2025, the Spello and Umbrian Villages Film Festival - The Professions of Cinema returns once again.
This festival aims to introduce the general public to the artisans and professionals behind the scenes, whose creativity contributes to the making of films, bringing the event to cities and villages throughout Umbria.
The festival shines a spotlight on the true protagonists of the filmmaking process: screenwriters, set designers, costume designers, cinematographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, sound recordists, sound designers and editors, musicians, digital effects creators, and executive producers.
To engage students with the world of cinema, the festival offers workshops and competitions. Alongside screenings, conventions, and conferences, the event also features the “Cinema Exhibitions,” one of which always highlights a behind-the-scenes profession, such as set design, special effects, or costumes, to name just a few.
