On 19 March history, religion and traditions come together in the initiatives in honour of Saint Joseph, universal patron saint of the Church and the city of Orvieto.

The feast of the patron saint will be the Jubilee of the city of Orvieto and on this occasion the saint's church will be reopened for worship after restoration work.

On 19 March the traditional distribution of St Joseph's fritters will be held in Piazza Duomo.
