Dei e Funzioni d’onda
From 1 February to 15 February, the exhibition ‘Gods and Wave Functions’ by international artist AKELO arrives at Palazzo Carrara in Terni. Some of the works will also be spread around the city, offering visitors an immersive, interdisciplinary experience. The Atelier Forme and Mintaka Studio will host other sculptures from the same ‘Wave Functions’ series, while several anthropomorphic sculptures from the ‘Gods’ series will be on display at Palazzo Mazzancolli in the courtyard leading to the State Archives and at the Sartoria Matteo Ostili. The works have been chosen to match the history and settings proposed by the different spaces distributed in a city itinerary that reiterates the festival's historical formula. The heart of the intervention is in the splendid Apollo and Daphne hall where the recent works of the ‘Wave Functions’ series dialogue with Girolamo Troppa's fresco cycle from the second half of the 17th century.
