From 12th April to 8th June 2025, the MACC – Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art in Torgiano hosts Da me quanto dista la terra?, an exhibition paying tribute to the renowned sculptor Leoncillo Leonardi through the works of Manuela Cirino. Set in the historic rooms of Palazzo Graziani Baglioni and curated by Lorenzo Fiorucci and Azalea Seratoni, the show marks the opening of the museum’s new cultural season, offering a compelling dialogue between two artistic visions—distant in time, yet closely linked by the expressive power of matter.

The exhibition juxtaposes Leoncillo’s iconic works with Cirino’s more recent creations, tracing a path that explores sculpture as an emotional and transformative language. Among the highlights, L’instabilité (2024) opens the journey with fragile, suspended forms, while ceramic becomes a medium for inner turmoil and reflection—as in Leoncillo’s famous Taglio rosso (1963).
