Perugia, on Sunday 25 January 2026, hosts the 18th edition of the Corsa del Patrono, an event dedicated to orienteering, a discipline that combines running and navigation skills. The event is open to both competitive athletes and non-competitive participants, and also welcomes those wishing to approach the sport at an amateur level.

The meeting point for participants is the Santa Giuliana Athletics Stadium, while starts will take place from Piazza del Circo between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The courses, varying in difficulty, length and elevation gain, are designed to suit the different categories and levels of experience.

For the competitive section, the Corsa del Patrono represents the first round of the Trofeo Italia Centrale 2026 and the Umbria Green O’Tour 2026. Alongside the competitive races, non-competitive categories are also scheduled, allowing beginners and enthusiasts to take part.
