At the terrace of Perugia's Mercato Coperto, UmbriaEnsemble will perform on 18, 25 August and 1 September for the 9th edition of I Concerti dell'Alba.

A red thread connects the three musical appointments at dawn, all united in the same thematic inspiration of the Famiglie Musicali: a mine of repertoires and stories - individual and social - teeming with life, creativity and beauty, regardless of the alternate fates that history has successively reserved for each person and their work.

The first appointment with I Concerti dell'Alba is dedicated to the siblings Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, united by a deep affection and precocious artistic talent. While Felix's music is widely known, Fanny's remained in the shadows due to the social restrictions of the time.

The second event is scheduled for 25 August with ‘The Mozarts’ (Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) while the third, on 1 September, will feature ‘The Bachs’ (Johann Sebastian and Johann Christian Bach).

The concerts are free admission.
