Gubbio, in the province of Perugia, will host the first edition of Ciccia – Italy in Twenty Sausages from 17 to 19 October 2025, an event entirely dedicated to sausages, the most widespread and ancient of Italy’s cured meats. The city’s historic taverns will welcome visitors to a food and wine journey through Italy, showcasing regional culture through a wide variety of flavours.

Each Italian region will be represented by a selected butcher, offering a tasting route where visitors can sample different sausage styles, paired with local breadregional wines and craft beers. Inside each tavern, there will also be a winery and a brewery from the corresponding region, ensuring a high-quality and authentic pairing experience.

The event will be animated by live music, concerts, street performers and activities for all ages. A market exhibition of regional products will also take place, offering the chance to take home the flavours discovered along the route.

Visitors can choose between different tasting ticket options, featuring three, ten or all twenty regions, to enjoy in one day or over the weekend.
